While not ignoring practical lessons that can be drawn from the life of Joseph, Roger Ellsworth fastens our attention on his place in the drama of God's redemptive plan. The sometimes chaotic nature of Joseph's circumstances did not mean that God's plan was thrown off track. Those circumstances were part of the plan. In our own chaotic and turbulent times, we can rest assured that God is moving steadily forward to finish his plan to the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Having served for almost fifty years as a pastor, Roger Ellsworth is now engaged in an itinerant ministry. He has also authored over fifty books. He and his wife, Sylvia, have two sons, Tim and Marty, and five grandchildren.
