**BACKORDERED: This book is now backordered. We expect to ship in late December, but we are not able to guarantee arrival before Christmas.
When Jesus changes a man, He changes everything. A redeemed man acts differently, speaks differently, thinks differently, and lives for something bigger than himself. A redeemed man honors God and blesses everyone around him when every area of his life is shaped by grace.
Joel R. Beeke (author of How to Lead Your Family), Richard D. Phillips (author of The Masculine Mandate), and Paul M. Smalley gather pastors and teachers from around the world to highlight what sets apart a redeemed man. Rooted in Scripture and shaped by decades of ministry experience, this book gives readers a clear, practical look at the core marks of godly manhood today.

“A Christian man has but one ambition—to live all his days in the fear of his God (1 Peter 1:17). . . Here, indeed, is wise pastoral counsel for every man who desires to glorify God in all of life.” —Stephen Yuille, director of Puritan publishing, Reformation Heritage Books
“‘Man up’ could be a barked command, a disdainful demand, a derisory snort. Not here! Here it is a reasoned, scriptural, affectionate, practical exhortation from men speaking from experience about the various ages and stages of Christian manhood. The Redeemed Man
Posted by Dennis Carroll on 2nd Dec 2025
When I enlisted in the Army in the 90s, we received a soldier's handbook that provided an overview of regulations, duties, and responsibilities for soldiers.
Similarly, The Redeemed Man is a wonderful handbook for the Christian man's life. It addresses various, duties, responsibilities and the different phases of the Christian life. The chapters are concise, and in my opinion, the authors did not waste any ink on filler paragraphs. Every page is full of valuable biblical guidance on living life as a redeemed man.
The footnotes direct you to more comprehensive studies if you wish to explore any individual topic further.
Just a few recommendations: first, the option of a hardback copy. Second, I hope the publisher is currently working on "The Redeemed Woman." Lastly, it would be wonderful to see a Redeemed Man conference in 2026 featuring all of the contributors.

This book has been put in my top 5 of books I would recommend for Christian life. I loved many of the chapters and believe this is a great resource for a men's Bible study or read on your own. It took me 2 days to read. There convicting portions and also some affirmations that I must be doing some things correctly. Well done!
