Visiting the sick can be the most uplifting, humbling, joyful, sanctifying and satisfying of all Christian ministries—and in this highly practical and easy-to-read book, Mike Mellor draws on his experience to show us how.

Written with both pastors and lay people in mind, this book seeks, firstly, to remove any lurking sense of duty we may feel when visiting those in their time of weakness and need; secondly, to give practical advice on how to be the greatest earthly blessing to our frail fellow sufferers as together we travel this often painful pathway through life; and thirdly, to convince us that this a ministry all can—no, all must—exercise!

Above all else, Mike emphasizes the immense privilege that is ours as we seek to follow in the footsteps of the Saviour who poured out his heart in ministering to the sick.
