Comprehensive. Accessible. Reformed.
Theology is not just an academic subject—it's worship.
In the 4-volume Reformed Systematic Theology set, authors Joel R. Beeke and Paul M. Smalley explore central Scripture themes from biblical, doctrinal, experiential, and practical perspectives:
The result? The most comprehensive 21st-century systematic theology of the Reformed Christian faith that ministers to the whole person―head, heart, and hands.
This set includes all 4 titles in the series: Revelation and God (volume 1); Man and Christ (volume 2); Spirit and Salvation (volume 3); and Church and Last Things (volume 4).
Praise for Reformed Systematic Theology:
". . .[a]remarkable gift to the church—not only in the United States but also throughout the world. . . that serves many levels of readership."
—Sinclair B. Ferguson, Chancellor’s Professor of Systematic Theology, Reformed Theological Seminary; Teaching Fellow, Ligonier Ministries
“The theology is never very far away from application, and the application is always derived from the theology. Doctrine and devotion are everywhere intertwined and rooted in clear and faithful biblical exposition.”
—Ligon Duncan, Chancellor and CEO, Reformed Theological Seminary
“Reformed Systematic Theology has been eagerly awaited, and it does not disappoint. Grounded in Scripture, rooted in the Reformation tradition, theologically faithful and wise, and practically relevant.”
—Stephen J. Wellum, Professor of Christian Theology, The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary
“‘. . . this work demonstrates that Reformed theology is also profoundly experiential, as no chapter fails to move from theology to doxology.”
—John MacArthur, Pastor, Grace Community Church, Sun Valley, California; Chancellor, The Master’s University and Seminary
“No contemporary systematic theology will bring the reader to a greater understanding of how theology blossoms into doxology than this one.”
—Matthew Barrett, Professor of Christian Theology, Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary; Host, Credo Podcast; author, Simply Trinity
“This is not a systematic theology written by an ivory-tower theologian, but rather by a seasoned preacher for whom the doctrines he expounds have become, by the grace of God, an experiential reality.”
—Bartel Elshout, Pastor, Heritage Reformed Congregation, Hull, Iowa; translator, The Christian’s Reasonable Service and The Christian’s Only Comfort in Life and Death
“Beeke and Smalley have written a work useful to the church at large that teaches Christians what they should believe and how they should love, but they have not sacrificed academic rigor to achieve these goals.”
—J. V. Fesko, Harriet Barbour Professor of Systematic and Historical Theology, Reformed Theological Seminary, Jackson
“Joel Beeke has continued his decades-long service to Christ and his church by presenting us with his mature reflections on the nature of systematic theology. . . reliable, well written, easily understood, and thoroughly researched.”
—Richard C. Gamble, Professor of Systematic Theology, Reformed Presbyterian Theological Seminary
“Here is theology functioning as it ought to function—calling us to worship.”
—Jeremy Walker, Pastor, Maidenbower Baptist Church, Crawley, UK; author, Life in Christ; Anchored in Grace; and A Face Like a Flint

Have been using this set for a few weeks now and am so grateful for it. It is eminently useful and thorough in every respect. I also appreciate the wide range of other sources that are brought in (such as Turretin). I am teaching several doctrinal classess in our church and will value this for the rest of my days as a trustworthy source for God's people and His Glory.

Best ST in recent times. Lots of reformed and puritan references. I really enjoy the Baptist references Smalley adds to the work. Best part about ST is not just the material on the topics, its the application! I have already used this for family study and worship. It often references songs, prayers and ways to grow in your walk.

I so appreciate RHB offering this set so affordable. My husband and I are slowly going through them and growing in our knowledge and love of our great God. And because the price is so reasonable we were able to purchase a set for an elder in our church. Thank you.

This is such a great set! The text is very readable, the books are attractive, the content is excellent and straightforward. It feels very natural to read, not like a college textbook. Nicely done!

First, from a physical standpoint, the set is a high-quality publication. Second, the content of the prolegomena in the first volume is solid and enriching, and the treatment of general/natural revelation and natural theology was very thorough and appropriately nuanced.
