Because we realize that children are a gift from the Lord and parenting is not a burdensome duty but a wondrous privilege, we attempt to raise godly children who fear the Lord. However, in our day of moral laxity and confusion, this becomes difficult and confusing to many parents. Ellsworth asserts that God has not left us to our own devices, but has given us his own Word as our guide. In a straight-forward and easy-to-read style he deals with real people and the problems they encounter, and gives biblical direction.
