Volume 1: Contains an enlarged Memoir of Berridge's life, numerous anecdotes, sermon outlines, and observations on scripture passages. Includes "The Christian World Unmasked" in which Berridge speaks in a narrative format as a physician of souls, and unveils the necessity of a true work of grace in the heart and that heavenly birth in Christ which alone will take a sinner to heaven. He earnestly contends for true religion and masterfully delineates between the spiritual state of one who is dead in his sins from one made spiritually alive by the grace of God.

Volume 2: Comprised of the many letters Berridge wrote to his friends and correspondents, which reflect his spirituality of mind, quaintness of character and unique insights into the things of God. Contains his "Sion's Songs or Hymns" composed for the use of them that love and follow the Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity; these 342 rich hymns reveal the inward heart and soul of the author, and should prove spiritually edifying to every God-taught soul.
