Before his death, A.A. Hodge turned his efforts to writing a concise explanation of the Westminster Shorter Catechism. He completed only the first part, which discussed what man is to believe concerning God. After his death, his cousin J.A. Hodge finished the work by addressing its second part, regarding the duty God requires of man. This book will greatly benefit both parents for giving instruction in their home and teachers expounding the catechism in the classroom.
