Description

The sound of the immersionist's voice heard everywhere. Very few voices are raised in opposition. Obviously, some immersionists speak overmuch on the subject; but just as truly, most of those who disagree with them say far too little. Who knows whether the times are not now ripe for a fresh study? The words "one Lord, one faith, one baptism" (Eph 4:5) clearly indicate there is only one baptism. As a consequence, the meaning is single and the mode is single.

Table of Contents:

  1. The Meaning of "Baptizo"
  2. Origin of Ritual Baptism
  3. The Baptism of Christ
  4. The Holy Spirit and Water
  5. Baptism Into Christ
  6. Cleansing From Sin (Purification)
  7. Objections
  8. Other Cases in Point
