This book was birthed out of an adult Bible school class at Tenth Presbyterian Church in Philadelphia. The course was organized around Chapter 26 of the Westminster Confession of Faith and was designed to strengthen Christian fellowship in the local church. Eight authors contributed chapters to this book, including editor Philip Ryken, who contributed four chapters. Dr. Hughes Oliphant wrote “Baptized into Communion” and “Assembly Required.” Dr. William Edgar authored a chapter titled “United in Love.” Dr. George McFarland wrote “Relief in Outward Things” and “Mutual Edification.” This book includes a leader’s guide.
