This little treatise was written as a means to convict the unconverted and edify those redeemed by the precious blood of Christ. Bonar sets forth the accusation that the whole world is guilty of consenting to the death of Christ. What God thinks of this blood, and the careless sinners thoughts, as well as those of the awakened sinner and saint, are detailed in these short chapters.
Author Horatius Bonar (1808–1889) was memorable Scottish minister and poet.
