The book of Numbers tells of the events of two generations that occurred between Israel’s exodus from Egypt and their entrance into the Promise Land. The first generation lacked faith and received their just punishment from God; the second believed the Word of God and therefore entered into their promised inheritance. Iain M. Duguid aids pastors and laypeople alike in seeing the significance of the book of Numbers. He explains the profundities of the biblical text, especially its less transparent portions, and how they communicate the message of God’s devotion to those who follow Him in faith.
Author Iain M.
