Reformation Heritage Books

This work was originally compiled as a adjunct to the Gadsby Hymn Books by John Gadsby, and contains much very interesting biographical information on the hymn-writers of 17th, 18th and 19th centuries. Some names are of the famous and prominent; others are lesser known. Amongst the more than 100 names are: J. Berridge, Cennick, Cowper, Doddridge, R. Erskine, Gadsby, Hart, Countess of Huntingdon, J. Irons, S. Medley, J. Newton, W. Romaine, A. Steele, J. Swain, A. Toplady, the Wesleys, and G. Whitefield. A helpful alphabetical index to the names has been added.
