Loving Christ and Fleeing Temptation was first published in 1765 as Select Sermons from handwritten manuscripts obtained by Gray's widow from a friend in northern Scotland. The present edition is freshly typeset and edited from the 1792 edition.

Author

Andrew Gray (1634-1656), a renowned Scottish preacher steeped in Reformed and Puritan theology, was much used of God prior to his homecoming at the age of 22.
